Towards the end of January, 2019, we presented the history of coffee, how it emerged in Ethiopia and spread around the world in Arabic, on the Karagoz scene, in Park Hyatt Jeddah Hotel, upon the request of an international, prestigious coffee company. The company requested that I wrote a scenario about the emergence of coffee, the stages it went through and how it spread around the world. The scenario I wrote was approved with minor changes, was translated to English, then to Arabic. After the translation process, it was recorded by Arabic voice actors, the recording was sent to me and with the Arabic voice-over played during the show, Karagoz and Hacivat informed the audience about the history of coffee around the world.
